Joseph Duncan Obituary

Joseph H. Duncan Jr. "Joe" age 68. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School Class of 1965. Joe was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was employed at American Bridge, American Juice, and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group where he served as the Human Resource Manager until he retired in 2013. Joe was a member of Salem Baptist Church. He passed away suddenly on Monday May 30, 2016. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife Della; parents Joseph H. Sr. and Antoinette Duncan; 1 daughter Shalonda (Mose III) Butler; 2 sons Marcel and Michael; 2 grandchildren Terion and ShanEttine; 4 sisters Sharon Parish, Karen Cole, Chandra (Leon) Jacobs and Helen Estes; 1 brother Darryl (Gail "Darlene") Duncan; 2 sisters-in-law Elaine Bigsby and Essie Wright and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Visitation Monday June 6, 2016 from 9-11:00 a.m. Family hour 10-11:00 a.m. Funeral service immediately following at 11:00 a.m. all services at New Bethel Fellowship COGIC. Supt. Kevin Warren officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.

Duncan was a very nice man with an infectious smile. He was indeed a friend who will be missed. Please know that the family is in our prayers.
