Lois will always be my earliest memory of a sweet, loving and endearing southern belle. Her open arms and nurturing personality was the aura that always surrounded her. All the prayers for children were answered and we were overjoyed with the arrival of Tiwiana and Hank. Lois' friendship with my mother turned into extended family and she will forever be missed but not forgotten. May the family continue to find solace in each other and their faith.

MRS. LOIS KEMP. One of God's greatest creations: loving, caring, compassionate educator. I sum it all up by saying, "Lord, I thank you for allowing Mrs. Kemp to enter into our lives."
On behalf of my children, Adron & Kim, WE'LL THANK GOD EVERY TIME WE REMEMBER YOU.-Phil 1:3

In the words of Smokie Robinson and I quote "I'll miss you my buddy, I'll miss you friend and I promise my love for you, will never end. I'm really going to miss you."
It saddens me to gather the words to say about my beloved, and long time friend. You will always be in heart and in the many lives you've touched. I just really wish I could have told you "I love you" just one more time like you would always say. I'm going to miss our late night conversations and adventurous road trips traveling back and forth south. We all loved you but God loved you best. May your precious memories and legacy live on forever until we meet again. Rest on my friend.
Love,
Sinoveia

Even though we only knew her a short time. We instantly adopted Mama Kemp and cherished her like my own mother. She will be greatly missed but her sweet kindred spirit will forever be in our hearts. We thank God for the time He shared her with us and understand why He called her back home.

I can't really find the words to define such a beautiful and pleasant spirit. I have known Ms. Lois (what I would call her) for 27 years of my life. Every moment I spent with her was priceless and unforgettable. Just a few weeks ago I sat at her house and we talked for hours about life and how she was so proud of my many accomplishments. I'm going to miss that tiny voice telling me "I Love You." Now heaven has gained an Angel that was needed. I cherish our memories forever Ms. Lois until we meet again. May you rest easy and I love you dearly...:

To The Kemps, words cannot express the pain I feel for you guys, you have my deepest sympathy. Mrs. Kemp was like a second grandmother to my children and she will greatly be missed. She has footprints all over the main level of the house, and she is always the first person you look for when you enter the house. It's so different not seeing her sit there. The world has lost one of its angels. I know you guys love her but God loves her more, and he has told her to come home, "Angel". She's in a better place watching over you all! Love Teresa, Edward, Devon, Dominique, Erricka, and Anfernee

I grew up knowing Lois as one of my mother's (Carlita) dearest friends and colleagues. Lois was an extension of our family. She will forever be the sweet young "southern" bride and new mother (to Tiwiana and Hank) in my memories. Lois was a moral role model because kindness and generosity preceded her presence. Condolences to all who loved her, especially her children and grandchildren.
