Aunt Luella, being one of my only aunts still in town, influenced me greatly. She championed me growing up, and I owe a great deal of any success I've achieved to her. Those bi-monthly beauty appointments meant learning volumes from her. Growing up, I would even go to Lady Dorsey Salon just to sweep up and to be near her and consume her energy. Then, later in life, when ever we talked, it would be about God and spirituality. Some of the best and most meaningful conversations in my life. I will miss her presence mightily. However, I know her spirit lives on within all she's touched. - Jerrilyn
