To the best dad in the World;
Dad is has been 7 Years since you made your transition to be with the Lord. I can’t believe it has been that long. It feels like yesterday I heard you call my name and ask for a cup of coffee. There is an emptiness that I feel now that I can’t communicate or see & touch you. Know that I remember all the Life Lessons that you taught me & will pass them on to my children & grandchildren.
Thank you for all that you did Dad. We all Love you & Miss you! Your children, grandchildren & entire Family! RIH Dad! Kiss Calvin & Mom! The # 7 means Completion.

Hi Dad; Thanksgiving was really tough without you being there to eat some of my sweet potato pie! I miss you so much...I am trying to stay strong in God's word and be the strong woman you raised me to be. The family came from near and far to break bread this holiday and it helped me to cope during this time. I know you are resting now. I love you cathy

Dear dad; as I sit in my room looking at my computer; I feel that this is all a dream and you are going to call my name and ask me to bring you some coffee. The last words I said to you before leaving the hospital were; are you ready to go home dad? You replied; " you know im ready to go home. Dad, I thought you meant our home, but, you meant your heavenly home. Dad, I want to say Thank-You for being the Best Dad in the world. I feel Blessed that God choose you and mom as my parent's. Rest now Dad because you deserve it. Tell my twin I Love him and kiss mom for me. Love your daughter. Cathy Glover

To: Cathy, Kevin, and the Entire Glover Family.

My heart was saddened to hear the news that God decided to take Mr. Glover home. Your dad was an inspiration to us from the moment our families met; your family became family. As a young girl, Mr. Glover was the coolest man alive. His demeanor was so smooth it was displayed in the way he walked and in the way he spoke. I can see him now carrying his lunch box walking up to the house from a day's work. He was so smooth and didn't have to work hard at it, he just was....

I admired, that he cared about the children in the neighborhood and he took time to give us words of wisdom about life and life's consequences; expecially when we were unruly. Whether he knew it or not, he was a blessing and a father to many of us.

He left his imprints in the heart of those who loved him and knew him well. God gave Mr. Glover 96 years of this "GIFT called LIFE", surrounded with lots of love. In turn, He left you with his legacy of treasured memories, wisdom and a foundation for you to build upon. He will be dearly missed, and my prayers are with you and the entire family.
