Roosevelt Carter Jr., age 85, of Gary Indiana, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2016. He resided at 4109 Lincoln St. in Gary and was a resident of Gary for over 50 yrs. He was a Deacon & faithful member of Whole Truth (C.O.G.I.C) in Gary, IN. He was born in Ripley MS, a veteran of the Korean War and also a 25-year retiree of Hammond Valve Corporation in Hammond, IN. He leaves to mourn 4 children, Charlotte Carter, Christopher Carter, Cedric Carter, Debra Bournes, 5 grandchildren and a wealth of other family and close friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 26, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Whole Truth (C.O.G.I.C.), 717 W. 45th Ave., Gary, IN 46408
