Sa'Riyah Barker

Sa'Riyah Ja'Nae Barker age 6: was born and raised in Gary, IN. She gained her wings on Sunday, August 14, 2016. At Riley's Children Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She was a member of Anointed House of Prayer Church under the leadership of Apostle V. Robinson. She attended Lighthouse Primary Academy in Gary, IN. She is preceded in death by her great grandmothers, Willie Mae Mitchell, Myrtis Neely, and Ethel Goosby, great grandfather, Robert Eskew, grandfather, Samie Barker, great uncle, Tyrone Eskew, and great aunt, Charlotte Fitch. Sa'Riyah leaves to cherish fond memories, loving mother Carmeleta Cook, father, Samuel Barker, and sisters, Tailyr Barker and Diamond Cody, grandparents, Myrtle (Albert) Goosby, George (Jessica) Cook, and Dorothy Barker, god- parents, Retha Ware and Willie Donta Fitch, nephew Kayden Cody special friends, Carolynn Jackson and Kennedy Blevins and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 12:00-8:00 p.m. at the Guy & Allen Chapel, 2959 W. 11th Ave., Gary, IN. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Temple of Deliverance Church, 4929 W. 15th Ave., Gary, IN. Apostle V. Robinson officiating.
