I would like to express my sincerest condolences to Pastor Harris, Mother Harris and the entire Harris family and Love Feast COGIC family. I'm so sorry to hear about your father, husband, and deacon. He was truly a good and faithful man of God. Every time I would come home for a visit and attend church service, he always had a cheerful hello with the question, "Are you married yet?" to which I would respond, "No deacon, I'm still waiting on the right One".
Such fond memories of my childhood and time at Love Feast. Also such gratitude, thankfulness and appreciation to Pastor Harris and the church family through the years as you all have played a major part in cultivating me to become the faithful and strong woman of God that I am on this day. RIH Deacon Harris along with your friend and fellow deacon, Marice Harris. You will be greatly missed.

Hearing about the passing of my uncle Harris brings sadness. But knowing the kind of husband, father & uncle he was and being able to witness this first hand as a child, brings back great memories! He was dedicated to the ministry and his family. He no longer has to suffer in his body and we here on earth can rejoice. Uncle Harris was a humble man and the affection him and aunt Vernell so openly shared over the 70yrs they were married was like none other. I can remember the many trips to Indiana and him and aunt Vernell coming to Michigan to visit the family, it was always a treat! My prayer is that the Lord gives the family strength during this time and his home-going celebration be a time to rejoice in the Lord. Sincerely, "Renea"
