Total sadness to hear this news....just like losing a brother....I can't remember a day in my life, when growing up in GI, I didn't see Herschel or break bread with my brother in some form or fashion....I always made it my business to holler at Herschel and Angelo whenever I hit town....we are so sad for your loss Marshanelle and I know Bobbie & rest of family is taking it pretty hard too....Much love and sorry I can't be there for Herschel's homecoming....hope to see you all soon

Knowing you almost sense birth; Betty Holly took us under her wings (in the community that we grow up in 23rd Ave. Madison St) and showed you, Sandra Lynn (Ba-Ba) Griffin, and myself - how to play games together. Your mom (Marchanelle) was like my mom, and Ms. Hudson was like my Grandmother....we shared so much together and remained friends for over 53 years.
