Lois Faulkner Obituary

Lois Nona Faulkner nee Johnson age 81 years passed away October 24, 2016 at Methodist Hospital. "Bootsie" as she was affectionately known was born on July 1, 1935 with twin brother Louis to Ralph & Hattie Johnson. She attended Lincoln Elementary and Froebel High School, she accepted Christ and baptized at Galilee Baptist Church. Lois married John L. Faulkner, Jr. August 29, 1959 and to this union four children were born. John and Lois were married for 44 years before Johns' transition in 2003. She retired after 30 years of service from Bethlehem Steel Corp. in 2000. She leaves to cherish her memories sons Ralph S. (Marsha) Riley, John L. (Lisa) Faulkner, III., Brian (Marilyn) Faulkner; daughters Cheryl R. Faulkner and Lois A. Faulkner; brother Louis R. Johnson; sisters Joy Lynon and Dawn (Rodney) Evans; one brother-in-law; 6 sisters-in-law; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday November 4, 2016 from 9-11a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00a.m. both at New Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Rev. W.N. Reed officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.

I'm missing you so much Mommy❤Missed saying Happy Mother's Day, Happy Birthday or Happy Thanksgiving Day & Happy 4th of July(your favorite holidays) to you but so glad you knew how I felt❤ through the cards, flowers, gifts & our chats & our shopping till drop sprees❤watching tv or just sitting saying nothing & so glad you gave me my first BIBLE to be able know God & Jesus & share it with my 4 sons & 3 grandchildren, I have all your bibles & bible study books that has helped me to inspire & encourage my sons more, so glad I seen you praying & talking to God had shown me your faith belief in Him. Your last few years I felt what you was going through I felt & heard you calling me & I know that was God. So again I miss you & thank you for what you taught ME... Love always Pebbles
