Dear Althea & family:
Very sorry to hear about Bob. He was a very remarkable person. If you remember me, I lived next door to you for a couple of years on Jefferson Place- in fact, it was my 1st house that I bought (over 20 years ago). I remember how kind you both were to me helping me out with "new home" questions and lending a hand when needed. Your kindness meant a lot to me and I'm grateful that I had really nice 1st neighbors.
God bless,
Scott and Sue Barden & family (Williams), Menasha, WI

God's Blessing to all of you. What wonderful person he must have been. He will always be with you.

Dear Althea and family, What a privilege it was to know Bob! He used all the gifts God gave him to make this a much better world. Until his illness he seemed untiring when there was a need - family, church, school, village, diocese. It was always a treat to see Bob and you, Althea, even in these years when you were at St. Paul. I am unable to get to the funeral but you are remembered in prayer. Bob is enjoying his great reward, being with Jesus! In sympathy, Sister Paulette Hupfauf

To the Valentyn Family,
The word class is often overused in today's society. I will say without doubt, class doesn't even begin to describe your husband and father. What a great man. Strength and respect can be gained by attitude and actions. Bob was well respected by anyone who had the pleasure of being around him. Your family is a true testament to the wonderful man he was.

"But when the kindness and love of God our Saviour appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Saviour, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life." Titus 3:4 - 7
Valentyn family,
May you find comfort in knowing that Bob has now inherited eternal life with God our Father. Praise the Lord, Bob gets to be with Jesus and has been given a new body and a new name. May the peace that surpasses all understanding be with you as you begin life on this earth without your beloved earthly father. I pray that it only causes you to grow closer to your Heavenly Father as you lean on Him during this difficult time.
Love to you all.

Althea and family--I am so sad to hear of Bob's passing. The two of you touched my life so much during my days as Parish Secretary at Holy Name. You were always a bright light every morning, coming into count money. Bob's wonderful sense of humor, always put a smile on my face. I will have a Monday morning donut in memory of you.
God bless you Bob for being such an important part of my life.
Love you all
