Mary Morack Obituary

Morack, Mary

Mary Ann (Tornow) Morack, age 78, Hortonville was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 7, 2015, after a brief illness. She was born on November 21, 1936, daughter of the late Clarence and Lillian (Lamp) Tornow. On June 5, 1959, she was united in marriage to Norbert Morack. She worked at Aid Association for Lutherans, various hospitals and St. Joseph Residence as a Nursing Assistant. Mary was baptized and confirmed Lutheran. She was a faithful member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Hortonville where she was involved in the Ladies Aid, taught Sunday school, Lutheran Girl Pioneers, was a 4-H leader, as well as a parent helper and chaperoned many field trips. Mary and Norbert fostered children for 12 years. She loved playing cards, fishing, especially at Rolling Stone Lake every June 5th, taking care of flowers and birds. The love of her life was her family, she loved being anywhere that she was surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her husband Norbert, three daughters and sons-in law, 12 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren: Debbie and Joe Jensen, their children: Brittany (Tyler) Ernst, Brad (Renee) Jensen, MyKayla, Morgann and Emilee Jensen, Barb and Jeff Parker and their children and grandchild, Katye (Jared) and Shaylee Olk, Travis and Whitney Parker. Linda and Tom Lambie and their children and grandchild, Brent, Andrew (Ashley) and Bryce, Levi, and Megan Lambie. A son Daniel, brother in-law Glen (Ann) Morack, David (Linda) Morack, sisters in-law, Carol (Jerry) Ort and Donna Morack

She is further survived by numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant grandson Nicholas, father and mother in-law, Walter Sr. and Alice Morack, brother in-law, Walter Morack Jr., sister in-law Elaine Morack.

Funeral services for Mary will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Hortonville with Rev. Joel Jenswold officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Mosquito Hill Cemetery, Town of Liberty.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs at St. Joseph Residence and The Bridges of Appleton. The family would also like to thank Pastors Joel Jenswold, Ralph Rosenberg, and Paul Zietlow for their pastoral care.

Thinking of Mary on this day . I have many memories of our lifelong friendship growing up together in the same neighborhood on Appleton St.

I just learned of Mary's death and am so
sorry to hear this sad news. My condolences to her family. Mary and I were old friends from childhood, although, we haven't seen each other in recent years, I have thought about her often. God bless and be with her family.
