Brian Grunwald Obituary
Brian Grunwald age 55, Maryville, TN, formerly of New London, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at UT Medical Center, TN. Brian was an avid sports fan especially Packers and NASCAR. He loved hanging out with his family. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London, and worked for Fraley & Schilling Trucking.
Survivors include: wife, Lisa Grunwald; sons, Jess (Chelsey) Hooper and Eddie Long; grandchildren, Aksyl & Zayne Hooper; brother, Grant (Sheri) Pingel; sister & brother-in-law, Lori (Dale) Schmidt; nephew, AJ Schmidt; many other family members.
Preceded in death by his parents, Wallace & Janice Grunwald; son, Joey Cavender; uncles, LaVerne Grunwald and Terry Thomas.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016, at 12 Noon at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Lisa- Brian was someone I will never forget. He believed in me before I did myself. He gave me a job helping on the farm when I was 11. He taught me a lot then, that forever helps me everyday. He will be missed.

Since we moved to the West Coast, I had not seen Brian for many years, but I have special memories of Brian when he lived at the farm. We are cousins and he was only one month older than me. I remember his sense of humor, He will be missed.
