Dear Leslie and Jim,
My dear friend, Margaret, told Me of your Dad's passing.
First of all, my deepest sympathies to you both and to your whole family.
Second, now please don't tell anyone - but Uncle Jim was my favorite. A fantastic, caring man who always 'caused' so much fun anywhere he went. Just a wonderful man. I will remember him dearly.
I hope all your memories will help to be your source of strength.
Lots of love to you both,
Maryann Dowling

Dear Leslie and Jim,
I was deeply saddened after hearing of the passing of your dad. I have such fond memories of our early days on Feidler Dr. and watching you two growing up with my children. I loved Yvonne.
My husband Joe had worked at GE and remembers your dad being the "smartest" analyst in the engineering dept. I was out of town all last week and couldn't make the memorial. Michael txt'd me...
Much love to both of you and your families. Helen Keim Schneider and Joe Schneider

Jim was an engineer's engineer. Every time we worked together, and there were many times, I always learned something. I always looked up to Jim, as a role model for how to think and conduct myself as an engineer. He has a special place in my heart.

My condolences to Bain family. Jim was a Christian brother to me at Elmwood Church. One of the finest men I have even known.
