JOHN GALLAGHER Obituary
Age 65, of Peters Twp., passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017. He was the beloved husband for 30 years of Linda D. Gallagher; loving father of Crissy (Vince) Ketter and Judy (Jamie) Smith; grandfather of Noah and Parker; brother of Jill Ann Adams and the late Jamie France; also survived by a niece and four nephews. John was the Program Director and Disc Jockey of LITE FM 92.9 for over 25 years. Arrangements by BEINHAUER, 724-941-3211. Friends and family will be received Sunday 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, PA, where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Please add or view tributes at www.beinhauer.com.

I knew John by reputation, and it was a good one from his days in Washington, PA and later in Pittsburgh when I thought of moving back to the area in the early 1990s. Never worked with him, but almost.

I did not have the pleasure of working with John other than the fact that we occasionally ran into each other at Seven Parkway Center when I worked at WORD-FM on the sixth floor and WLTJ was on the seventh floor at the time. John was always pleasant and had a smile on his face. My deepest sympathies to the family during this difficult time.

Dear Linda. I'm so sorry for your loss. I just found out about this a few minutes ago (Sunday 12/17) so I couldn't attend the visitation earlier today. We had many great times working together at Lite-FM, and we will never forget John. God bless during this very difficult time and always. Pete Morley
