DAVID McDERMOTT Obituary
Age 62, of Tampa, FL, formerly of Ebensburg, PA, and Moon Twp., PA, passed on Thursday, August 18, 2016, after a long battle with lung cancer. Born March 26, 1954, he was the son of Doris J. (Mitchell) McDermott and Paul J. McDermott, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela (Shifflette) McDermott; proud father of Ian (Rachel) McDermott and Branden (Tiffany) McDermott; adoring grandchildren, Ivy, Violet, Merryweather, Bo, Tianna and Baylen; brothers, John T. McDermott, Paul J. McDermott, Jr. and sister; Maureen McDermott Noyes. David was a 1973 graduate of Moon High School. He served in the US Air Force for five years as a Budget Clerk, spending time in South Dakota, England and Ohio. He enjoyed working for the Alvarez Plumbing Company for 14 plus years creating bonds and friendships with coworkers and customers. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, August 27, 2016, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at BLOUNT & CURRY, TERRACE OAKS FUNERAL HOME,12690 N. 56th St., Temple Terrace, FL 33617.
