ANTHONY A.
Age 71, of Chambers Hill, died Saturday, May 10, 2003, at home. He was born June 23, 1931, in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Anthony F. and Violet Castriota. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean War. He was retired from Bethlehem Steel Corporation and was an active member of the United Steelworkers of America - Local 1688. He was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church and served the committee who founded the shrine of the Miraculous Medal in the 1970's. He is survived by his wife Dolores "Dee" Castriota; daughter Lori A. Suski and son-in-law Ronald P. Suski of Lower Paxton Twp; daughter Marlo D. Heagy and son-in-law Jay A. Heagy of Mechanicsburg; son Joseph J. Castriota of Louisville,KY; grandson, Christian A. Heagy of Mechanicsburg; step-grandchildren, Kaitlyn J. and Shane M. Suski of Hummelstown; twin sister, Rosemary M. Pugliese of Lower Paxton Twp; brothers, Joseph and Donald Castriota of Pittsburgh, PA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Louis Castriota, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 14, 2003, from 6:00-9:00 pm at NEILL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3501 Derry Street, Harrisburg, with recitation of the rosary at 8:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 15, 2003 at 11am at St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg, with his pastor, Msgr. Hugh A. Overbaugh, officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery on Derry Street. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Capital Region Unit, 3211 N. Front Street, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110 or to St. Catherine Laboure Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111. www.neilfh.com
