KENNETH BENTZ Obituary
60, of Avalon, on Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Beloved brother of Kevin (Joy Lassack) Bentz, Karen (James) Harris and Margaret (Ray) Joyce; proud uncle of Westin and Colson Bentz, James and Jeffrey Harris and Christine Mentesanne; preceded in death by his parents Albert J. and Geraldine Bentz and nephew David Parker. Kenneth was a Corporal in the US Marines and worked as a Millwright member of Local Union #2235. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at ORION C. PINKERTON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1014 California Ave., Avalon 412-766-5600. Interment to follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.

Joy,Kevin and family, I was surprised to hear about Kenny. It has been a while since I have visited with him, but I will remember him at our family dining table. Please accept our condolances. Since my recent surgery, we will be unable to attend the Memoral Service on Thursday. Love to all..Bob and Audrey

Ken was a great friend. He helped me and many others and will always be remembered for doing for others and not expecting anything in return. He was a smart and funny guy! i'm sorry i lost touch with him the last few years. He will always be my friend! SQUISH
