Age 52, of Harborcreek, PA, passed away peacefully Monday, April 21, 2014, at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born September 21, 1961, and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Wendy graduated from Allderdice High School and attended Edinboro University. She raised her children with her former husband, Jack, spending the majority of their 25 years in Tecumseh, Michigan. Wendy was very involved in her community. She was a very giving person and often thought of the needs of others before her own. Her contagious smile will be missed but remembered always by those who met her. After moving to Erie in 2002, Wendy became the Business Manager for Grandview Family Practice and worked for UPMC Hamot throughout their satellite operations. Her most enjoyable activity was spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all those who had the joy of crossing paths with her through life. Wendy was preceded in death by her beloved father, Robert Witt and grandmother, Marie Brashear, both of Pittsburgh. She is survived by her mother, Jean Witt of Pittsburgh; her children, Justin Renshaw (Meghan) of Erie and Julie Johnson (Adam) of Virginia Beach, VA; her two grandchildren, Kamdyn and Alanna; her three brothers, Robert (Terry) of Rocky Mount, NC, John (Judy) and Dave (Nancy), all of Pittsburgh and several nephews and nieces and great-nephews and great-nieces. Friends may call at the DUSCKAS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2607 Buffalo Rd., Erie, Thursday from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 9 p.m. A private family service will be held, conducted by Rev. Shawn Clerkin.
