I am so sad to read of John's passing. He was a wonderful man, dedicated to his family and to the sport he loved so much. I was blessed to have known John, to have worked with him, to have be at Gold Medal Camp, and to have run with John. His memory and spirit will live on with all he has done for running, the RRCA, Runner's Gazette, and in the people whose lives he has touched. My deepest sympathy to John's family.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I knew John through Beth. I loved talking with him when he visited Short Line School. He was kind and gentle yet driven. My condolences to Mary and the family.
