Dear Larry,

I knew Deirdre for most of her life and to me she was a very special person. I wish I could be at Old Forge for her service, but it is too much for me at this time and in this weather. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I wanted to express my sympathy and send my prayers and good thoughts to Deidre's family. In LA, we have been aware of Deidre's struggle for the past year and the only consolation is that she has gone to a better place.

Larry (and all family and friends),

Mark has lost a wonderful colleague and we have lost a dear, dear friend. Any who knew her, met her, or even just heard us talk about her will feel Deirdre's absence. She will surely be missed by so many.
