Age 18, unexpectedly, on Monday, February 6, 2017 of Forest Hills. Loving son of Vickie (Chris Barnette) DeTorre and Robert P. (Tracey Frawley) DeTorre, Jr.; cherished brother of Jessica (Sean Samsa) DeTorre; adored grandson of Robert P. (the late Jo Anne) DeTorre, Sr., Gloria (Gerry) Fox and Jack (Elaine) Farar; nephew of David (Debbie) DeTorre, Chris (Jerry) DeTorre, Lisa (Rich) Ofalt, Michele (Kevin) Goss and Jack Farar, Jr.; dear cousin of Rachel, Michael, Gianna, Olivia and Jackson. Robbie will be lovingly missed by his many friends and extended family. He was a graduate of Woodland Hills High School and enjoyed many outdoor activities, including: football, hunting and snowboarding. Friends received at WOLFE MEMORIAL, INC., Forest Hills Chapel, 3604 Greensburg Pike (412-731-5001) Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial St. Maurice Church Saturday 10 a.m. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to www.Ceasefirepa .org. Taking a stand against gun violence.

Rob, Vickie, and all my DeTorre family. I simply can NOT find the words to express the pain my heart feels for you right now. This is without a doubt a parents worst nightmare. I keep reaching and reaching, but can't quite get to that perfect thing to say. If there even is such a thing. I am somewhat comforted knowing his grandma JoAnne was there to take him into her arms. Wings would be more appropriate. If there is anything you need, or anything i can do to help you in ANY WAY, please do not hesitate to ask. I know time, and our busy lives have pulled us apart physically, but one thing it can never take away is my love and friendship to you guys! And at a time like this, that friendship comes first!!! Hold on tight to each other, and if you feel like you can't hold on one more second, that's when we will help carry you the rest of the way!!!! Love you all!!!

Dearest Rob and Gloria, Vicki and Chris, and Jess, and all members of both families, we were so heartbroken to learn of Robbies passing. We have tried so hard to get there for his services, but all airports here are closed due to this horrible blizzard. We both know what you are going through and how very difficult it is.
