Edwin Atwood Obituary
Age 62, unexpectedly on Thurs. April 17, 2008, of West Mifflin; loving fiance of Cheryl Swick; beloved father of Sandi Robinson, Ed, Cpt. Chuck Atwood, USMC, Rick (Becky), and Shannon Atwood; loving son of Louise and the late Harry H. Atwood; grandfather of Bailey and Logan Robinson and Jillian Atwood; brother of Harriet Atwood, Melva Litzinger, Chuck Atwood, Claudia Atwood-Burgess and Lori Berry. A Memorial visitation will be held Mon. 6-8 pm at WM. F. CONROY FUNERAL HOME, 2944 Chartiers Ave., Sheraden. Memorial funeral mass in Holy Innocents Church Tues. 10:00 am. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Ed's grandchildrens College Fund.

Dear Cheryl and Atwood family,
I know my loss of a dear Friend doesn't even compare to your loss. Ed is missed daily and I hope your memories comfort you as you think of Him and the good times that were shared. Atwood Family,
I was very sad to hear about Ed's passing. I worked with him at Estes and had the great opportunity to visit with him every other night up here in Vermont. I will miss him dearly, the outbound shift in Rockingham, VT will never be the same.

Dearest Cheryl and Atwood Family,
I could not have asked for someone who could be more special to me as your dearest Ed. He filled a great void as a friend and mentor after my own father's passing. Wholehearted in his every effort with love for each of you along with my son and I too he has touched us so deeply. My heart aches for your loss and my soul prays for your comfort. My family and I will always remember the good times we had on the river with Ed. Ed was truly a good friend who would give you the shirt off his back. Boating will not be the same this summer without Ed. He will be sorely missed. Cheryl God bless you and all of Ed's family.
