LEONARD D.
88, of Oklahoma Boro., passed away on Monday, March 19, 2012 in the VA Butler Healthcare, Butler. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 21, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the CURRAN- SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 100 Owens View Avenue, Apollo. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. James Roman Catholic Church, Apollo, with Father James Euker as celebrant. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell where full military honors will be accorded by the Plum American Legion Post #980. The family suggests memorial contributions in Leonard's memory to the VA Butler Healthcare, 325 New Castle Road, Butler, PA 16001. To send an online condolence to the family please visit

Frank and Rick I am so sorry to here about the passing of your dad. I have so many memories of him sitting on the porch with my mom,dad, and all the nieghbors. It makes me very sad to think this is the end of a wonderful era. God Bless you all.
