Dear Marty and family:

We just learned today, May 27, 2009 of the death of Joann in April. I read about her struggle with ovarian cancer and I am so terribly sorry. She was a wonderful person. We served on many things together when the kids were little and she was my nurse at Health South. Such a kind and loving woman. She will surely be missed and our prayers and condolences go out to all of you.

Dear O'Malley Family,

Please accept my deepest condolences in your loss. I went to Shady Side with Jack and remember seeing Mr. and Mrs. O'Malley at all of the musicals, sporting events and so on... They were such upbeat, kind people. I always thought Mrs. O'Malley had a such a nice smile.

God bless you all in this difficult time,

JoAnn, Madolin, and John lived next door to me on Reynolds Street. There were many times when, as a kid, I would go over to their house and sit with JoAnn's Mom on the porch swing, where she loved to spend her time. I learned about JoAnn's passing from a grade school friend who remembered JoAnn as my neighbor. I wish I had know that she was living in Forest Hills for I surely would have visited her on my trips to Pgh. I have been living in N.C. for many years but I have fond memories of the Staleys and their three children. Please accept my sympathy and, if you will, please extend the same to her brother and sister. I know you all feel a very deep loss.
Sincerely,

Vince & De Sonson

Dear O'Malley family, you have my deepest sympathy on your loss. Joann and I were in yoga class together for 3 years. She was upbeat and kind and always had an encouraging word when I needed one. She will be missed by all who knew her. May you find comfort in memories of happier times and keep her spirit alive by sharing stories the joy she brought into your lives. May she rest in peace. You are in my thoughts in prayers.

The O'Malley Family,
I just wanted to express my deepest condolences on the loss of your wife, mother, and grandmother. She was such a wonderful woman and a staple in the Forest Hills community! When I learned of her diagnosis, I was so glad to hear that all of the kids were able to make it home to be with her and to help her fight though it. I'm sure that she cherished that time more than anything. I'm sorry that I cannot be there in person to give my sympathies, but I wanted to let you know that you are all in my thoughts. And I pray that, with time, you will all be able to smile and laugh together when you think back on all of the wonderful memories that you shared. God Bless.

I want to extend my deepest sympathies and sorrow to you as you as you journey through the loss of your wonderful wife and mother. Joann will never be forgotten and I will cherish the time I was able to spend with her weekly. She was a really super lady who loved and cared for her family and home SO much.
You made her life so happy.
Let me know if you need ANYTHING at all!
