So sorry to hear of John's passing - we were "thick as thieves" as youngsters. He was always one of the best of us. He'll be missed.

Hurey Family,
We have never met, but we knew John as our favorite pizza delivery man. We were very saddened to learn when we asked where he was last night about his passing. My heart goes out to you all. John was an extraordinary man and always so cheerful and friendly and became a part of our Friday night family tradition. He was a very proud grandfather -as when he would see our little ones, he always mentioned his grandkids. He will be greatly missed. May you all find comfort knowing he is in a better place and may happy memories sustain you. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I have such fond memories of our childhood antics in the neighborhood-many of which were instigated by John who was seldom at a loss for inspired ideas. I have no doubt that he will be missed and fondly remembered by everyone who ever knew him.

Dear Nancy and children

Billy and i are so sorry and sadden by the loss of your husband and father. We were looking forward to his annual christmas party that he was so proud of. Billy and I always had such a good time with John. I remember last Oct. when he brought up a pumkin to me for my granddaughter. He told me to put it in the garden and tell her that it grew in there. John was a very generous person with a good heart. Billy and i will miss talking with him and spending time with him. We always had a good time when he came up to our picnics. Our sincere sympathy to all of you

Dear Hurey Family,
I now live in Phoenix, Arizona, but grew up with John, Carole and Buddy at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Carnegie. We all knew John to be a good and kind man, generous with his time and talent to the church and his parish family. We were shocked to hear of his passing. We pray that God has received John into His Heavenly kingdom where there is light and life eternal. Memory Eternal! All of the family are in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless you and comfort you in this time of grief. Jane Bilewicz Allred
