I knew Roy through his volunteer work at Mayview. He was treasurer across the years and no job was too small for this mechanical engineer. He and Cathy taught by example. They lovingly spent time together “… in sickness and in health...” Despite failing health he continued to attend luncheons with her at Peters Place. We all are blessed to know this devoted couple and their families. May many wonderful shared memories bring the Allen families and friends peace.

Knew the family for many years and kept in touch over many miles. Roy was a great man. Blessings to his family and remember all the good times and celebrate his life. You are in my prayers.

Rod and I were saddened to learn that Roy had passed away. Cathy, Ken, Carolyn, Beth, Karen and Chris and your families are in our thoughts and prayers. I, Pam, remember fondly the many fun experiences we had growing up on Corteland Dr/Carriage Lane with your family. Rod, remembers fondly the times he shared with your dad watching the Penguins play while staying with your parents when visiting Pittsburgh. May it comfort you to know that you dad's legacy will long be remembered by those whose lives he impacted. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
