Age 67, of Bloomfield, after a courageous 39-year battle with paralysis, peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Beloved husband of Linda M. (Bonacuro) Zangrilli; loving father of Lisa (Ken) Stevwing and Nicole (Michael) Hoh; devoted grandfather of Austin, Alexa, Francesca, Michael and Vincent; brother of Armand (Shawn) Zangrilli, Paul (Mary Pat) Zangrilli, Dan (Dorothy) Zangrilli and Maria Moio; much loved brother-in-law of Perry (Bonnie) Bonacuro and Michael (Jayni) Bonacuro; cherished uncle of Michael and Derek Bonacuro. Family and Friends received at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Thursday and Friday 2-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Maria Goretti Parish, Friendship Campus on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Bill's family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Hank Rafkin and the entire staff of the MSICU, 2nd Floor at UPMC Shadyside, for their compassionate and loving care of Bill and his entire family for the past eleven months.

My heart-felt sympathy, love, prayers and hugs to all of you in this time of sorrow. Bill was an inspiration to all who knew him. His love for God, for his family and his attitude were like no other.
