ANDREW SHEPLER Obituary
Age 71 peacefully in his Ingram home, with his wife at his side, on Tuesday December 27, 2016. Beloved husband and best friend of 48 years to Donna (Mascilli) Shepler whom he adored; dear son of the late Arnold and Mary (Scolieri) Shepler; brother of Arnold (Patricia) Shepler; nephew of Carmella (Scolieri) Moore; and many other aunts and uncles; son-in-law of the late Antonio and Vivian Mascilli; brother-in-law of the late Emidio and Gino Mascilli; and survived by brother-in-law, John (Barb) Mascilli; also many nieces and nephews. He served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Coast Guard. He started his service in the US Post Office in 1969 at the Oakmont Post Office. He was promoted to Post Master of the Eldersville Post Office and retired from the Strabane Post Office in 2000 after 36 years of service. For the past decade, Andy worked for Quest Diagnostics where he enjoyed the company of his many co-workers. He will be sadly missed by his neighbors of Ingram and many friends. Family and friends received Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the SCHEPNER - MCDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Ave., Crafton. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Friday in St. Philip Catholic Church where Andy was a faithful member. Burial will be with full Military Honors in Allegheny Cemetery.
