Grandma

It’s time for you to rest, you worked so hard here.

We know that you loved us all, and that you did your best.

It’s time for you to soar High

To be with God, and all those who have left before.

To guard us all on earth from heavens angelic sky.

It’s time for you to get your wings

And take your rightful place among the stars.

To watch and guide all those you love from afar.

It’s time for you to be with PapPap and spend forever in his arms.

To see Aunt CeCe and her smile once more.

Be sure to give them hugs and kisses and please tell them we love them

That’s for sure.

Don’t worry about us grandma, we will be ok,

For you left a piece of you in us all.

For your children you gave memories, who passed them onto

Your 16 grandchildren who felt your love and passed it on to

Your first great grandson and will continue to do so for all your great-grandchildren to come,

Most of all grandma, you gave us your faith and hope to know we can make it through another day.

Our tears will be replaced with smiles one day, our pain with laughter.

We will smile once again and the sun will surely shine

For in Heaven we know, you will live Happily Ever After.

Until you hold me in your arms again gram, know that I can smile

For I know we are only apart for awhile.

Kisses and Love,

Your Granddaughter,

Danielle
