Darlene and Family,
I lost my husband to leukemia 4 days before Tony! I was so surprised and saddened to hear about him. I am grieving terribly just as you are. If you ever want to talk, e-mail me and we can exchange numbers etc. I'll think of you and your family and many fond memories of Tony at Canevin and Edinboro. Fondly, Jan Polito Zinsser

Darlene and Family:
I was so sorry to hear about Tony when Pam came to see my Jim. I'm sorry I was not able to come in person, but you know you have my heartfelt sympathy. I guess we were there to support each other in a small way. I know that the pain we are both feeling will be long and difficult, but I also know that we are strong and will see it through. I admire you for your strength and your compassion. We are sisters in grief, but will become sisters in hope. Love to you and your family. My mom and sister send their sympathy as well.

Darlene, I was so sorry to hear the sad news. I wanted to send a card but couldn't get your home address and didn't know if you'd get one sent to Conroy. I hope fond memories will soon replace your grief! Sincerely, Janice Portante (PPS/Mercy)

Dear Darlene and family,
You may not remember me but I worked with Tony and his Aunt Pat at George L. Wilson Co. back in the early 70's. My wife, Peg and I are very sorry to hear of Tony's passing. Although we have not seen him for many years, we remember him as if it were yesterday. Peg seems to remember that the 2 of you were married in October, as we were too, but she thinks it was the 14th, ours was the 20th and she's not sure of the year for you but knows it was within a year or so of ours OR the same maybe, 1973. Please know that you will all be in our prayers that God will be with during this most difficut time. Please feel free to contact us if you so desire.
Sincerely,
Kymm Cunningham, Early Intervention-PPS

Dear Darlene and Family:
I will remember Tony for the genuinely good person he was. I always enjoyed our brief, but happy times together (golfing mostly). He was the 'genuine article' and my life is better for having known him. I will think of him fondly. My prayers are with you all.

Darlene,
I am saying a prayer for you today, and for many days to come. I was so saddened to hear this sad news. The only reason I will not be there to see you in person is that I am leaving right after work to fly to El Paso to see my new granddaughter for the first time. But you will be in my thoughts.

Tony, you were an encouragement when we were growing up on Hyde Street. You were always levelheaded and a great friend. I will always remember the fun, conversations and great times we shared. The world will miss you as will I and all who knew you and loved you. The adage must be true when they said "the good die young". I wish it wasn't so in this case. Remember us from that "better place" where you are now and smile upon us. Tell Pa I said Hi. Your friend and neighbor, Gerry
