Brandy Jo Chamness Rydalch, 36, of Idaho Falls, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at her home.
She was born April 1, 1975, in Madisonville, Ky., to Glen Gregory Chamness and Angela Rose Teeter Chamness.
As a child, she moved with her family to Rexburg. She also lived in Sugar City; Anchorage, Alaska; Boise; St. Anthony; and Idaho Falls.
In 1994, she married Gerry Colgrove, and they were later divorced. In 1997, she married Mark Rydalch, and after five years of marriage, they were divorced.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Brandy was very artistic and enjoyed crafts and spending time with her children, nieces and nephew.
Survivors are her mother, Angela Teeter of Meridian, Idaho; father, Greg (Marianne) Chamness of Madisonville, Ky.; son, Tyler Colgrove of Weston, Idaho; daughter, Amanda Jo Rydalch of St. Anthony, Idaho; brother, Jared Carter of Salt Lake City, Utah; sisters, Misty Chamness (Brandon) Dodds of Bowling Green, Ky., and Crystalyn Carter (Shawn) Nelson of Idaho Falls; grandparents, Flaud Chamness of Madisonville, Ky., and JoAnn Teeter of Meridian; and great-grandmother, Delsie Simmons of Evansville, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Harold Teeter, and grandmother, Doralee Simmons.
Graveside services will be at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, June 4, at Sugar-Salem Cemetery in Sugar City. The family will visit with friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road, prior to leaving for the cemetery.
