Dear Mrs. Hoger and family,
Pastor Hoger was an amazing and passionate man. As the daughter of Bill Volk, I recall so many memories and smiles from direct interactions or stories that my dad would tell.
The most memorable and important story that I have is when I left to travel as an RN throughout the USA in the early 1980s. I was touched and moved by Pastor Hoger's prayers over me prior to my travels and work. This gracious and holy acknowledgement has stayed with me throughout my years of nursing. I am sure that Pastor Hoger is dancing with Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! God bless you all with joyous memories.
