Anthony J. Olheiser

Pleasant Valley - Anthony J. Olheiser of Pleasant Valley passed away on Friday May 11, 2012 at Vassar Hospital. He was 69.

Born on July 19, 1942 in New York City. He was the son of the late Sydney Olheiser and Johanna Idema.

Anthony was the owner of Dutchess Diving Center. He was also the owner of Anthony's Studio.

Tony as his friends knew him was a graduate of Arlington High School and served his country in the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Vietnam.

In 1966 he married Mary Anne Cicman. They have four children, Michael Olheiser and his wife Lori and their daughter Jordan, Bradley, Kerin and his fiancé Mia Midtskogen and Gregg who all survive. His sister Carol Rogers and several nieces and nephews.

Tony enjoyed spending his time boating, scuba diving and traveling the world.

Friends may call on Thursday May 17, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Allen Funeral Home 1605 Main St, Pleasant Valley. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 18, 2012 at 10am at St. Stanislaus Church, Pleasant Valley. Interment will be on Monday May 21, 2012 at 1pm at The Gerald BH Solomon National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.

Cousin Tony was an honest honorable man filled with humor and love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all of us. We send our deepest sympathy to his boys Michael, Bradley, and the twins Greg and Kevin and dearest sister Carol.
