Joseph Billen Obituary
VERBANK - Joseph Billen, of Verbank,NY died suddenly on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Sharon, Connecticut on February 25, 1960, he was the son of the late Michael Billen, Jr. and Stella Kuzma Billen who survives in Verbank.
Joe was a graduate of Millbrook High School, Class of 1978 and served his country with the US Navy.
He had been employed by NXP in Fishkill as a clean room technician.
In addition to his mother, Joe is survived by his brothers and sisters; Michael Billen of Verbank, John Billen of Hinesburg,VT., Patricia Billen of Niskayuna,NY, and Kathy McMillan of Millbrook; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, December 10 at 10 am from St. Joseph's Church, North Ave., Millbrook. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Millbrook.
Because Joe was a great lover of animals, his family is requesting that donations be made in his memory to the Dutchess County SPCA or to your local animal shelter.
