Ernie was the best neighbor you could ever ask for. He gave my 3 girls Disney videos every Christ. He shared his beautiful flower bulbs with us. My yard is a bloom with beauty all from Ernie. Earlier spring it was the peony bushes he gave me, then the daphodils, then the iris. Right now his black eyed susan are a blaze of yellow! Ernie you are missed and loved.

Linda&Bill, Craig&Kathy, Alan&Paula, It was a privilege and honor to know Ernie. He was a true gentleman blessed with intelligence and wit. It was an honor to be his neighbor and call him friend. I enjoyed his stories about his infantry, travels, genealogy, and his knowledge of history. He was always lending a hand, calling a greeting and offering a smile. My life was better for having Ernie as a part of it. My prayers are with you.

I had the blessing of meeting Ernie through his buddy Clarence Neff at Midway Lanes. They were both gentlemen of the best kind. I enjoyed my bowling more and learned from both of the. Ernie was always full of life and tried to get the best out of each day he lived. He will always have a place in my heart. My prayers go out to his family at this most difficult time. He and Clarence are catching up on tales in heaven.
