AnnMarie Horvath Obituary
AnnMarie Horvath, 56, of Endicott, passed away unexpectedly Thursday August 8, 2013. She was predeceased by her mother Dorothy Gasbarra. AnnMarie is survived by her devoted husband of 26 years Forrest Horvath; one son Evan William Horvath and his fiancée Kaley Hippensteal; her father William Gasbarra; two sisters Barbara (Al) Mazzei and Donna (Derek) Ciancio. She is also survived by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Edward and Marilyn Horvath; two nieces Nicole and Analee Ciancio and several other loving family members and friends. She was a former IBM employee retiring after 25 years of service. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 9:30 from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main St, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10 am. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the memorial home on Monday from 4-7. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Union Volunteer Emergency Squad, 8 S. Avenue B Endwell, NY 13760.

My sincerest and deepest condolences on your loss. Annie was an amazingly wonderful, caring and generous soul. she was so excited during my pregnancy and checked on me often counting the days when she'd finally get the chance to meet my little one. I was only able to provide her with a quick glance when i saw her last and am deeply saddened that she never got to hold her. I am grateful to hsve known such a special person and wish you comfort at this difficult time.

Forrest/Evan I remember meeting Ann at the "Green Owl" at breakfast one day. She was so easy to talk to. I thought to myself "Forrest your a very lucky man" to have found a wonderful person to share your life with. I am so sorry for your loss. I'm so sorry for your loss,Annie was a wonderful lady and i will miss her,i had the pleasure of getting some of her recipes,her special fruit salad.
I worked with her and Forrest at IBM and on my last day they took me out for lunch. I will always remember her cute hair cutes and her petty earings she loved to wear.

My condolences to all of you at this difficult time. Annie was one of the first people I met when I started working at the DOL. We sat next to each other and she encouraged me daily after I came out of training. She was very professional and calm and that spoke volumes to me. Kindness is a source found deep within and a choice that we make when coming in contact with others. Annie truly was kind and giving and this is how I will always remember her. The entries in this book will tell you how much she was loved and how she touched the lives of so many. Praying that God will comfort all of you and you give strength in the days ahead.
