Robert Baisley Obituary

Baisley, Robert W.

Windsor: Robert W. Baisley born February 15, 1936 went to be with the Lord after complications from pneumonia on January 1, 2014. He is predeceased by his loving wife Marion Baisley; his parents, Buel and Blance Baisley; his sister, Shirley Palmer and brother-in-law, Albert Kelley. He is survived by his sons, Kevin and wife, Mary Baisley, Preston Baisley and partner, Lorraine Brady; his daughters, Lynette Baisley, Debra and her husband, Martin Hayes her children, Courtney and Adisen Harden, who were his pride and joy. Also the sons of Lorraine; Brian his wife, Lindsey and their children Sage, Rowen and Carter Holcomb; and Matthew Hotaling. He is also survived by his sister, Joan Kelley; several nephews, nieces and special friends. Robert retired from the Operating Engineers Local 410 after 40 years of service. He worked on the Love Cannel, Rock-Bottom Dam and Norwich Pharmaceutical to name a few. Prior to that, he worked with his father at Baisley's Body Shop. He loved to hunt, snowmobile, travel and spend time at the diner drinking coffee with his friends. He will be greatly missed by those that were blessed to know him. A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 7th at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc. 150 Main Street Johnson City NY. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery. A celebration of his life will follow. The family will receive friends at Funeral Home on Monday January 6th from 3 to 6 p.m.
