Charles Town, WV: Barbara Edna Larrow, 60, of Charles Town, WV, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. Born May 4, 1951 in Binghamton, NY, she was the daughter of the late John William Wharton and Josephine Bernarde Wharton. Barbara was a children's daycare provider with over 20 years of service with the Broome County Social Services. She was a graduate of Binghamton Central High School. She remained a member of St. Patrick's Parish in Binghamton. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Louis Larrow, at home; one son, Jason Larrow, at home; one daughter, Jessica Morrow and husband, Randy, of Gettysburg, PA; one sister, Marie Wharton of New Orleans, LA; two grandsons, Matthew and Sammy Morrow; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the St. James Catholic Church, 49 Crosswinds Drive, Charles Town, WV, with Rev. Fr. Larry Gesy as the Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Barbara may be directed to support brain cancer research at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Research. Please make checks payable to Johns Hopkins University.
