"Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. "
- Clarence the angel from "It's a Wonderful Life"
GiGi was an artist in the kitchen. I remember trying a scallop, rice and cherry tomato dish she made years ago. At the time I was just starting to cook traditional dishes. But one bite of GiGi's dish inspired me to experiment with different tastes and textures. I began perusing cooking magazines and cookbooks at the library. Along the way, Mom (your daughter!) taught me a few tricks that are invaluable. Eventually Brian caught the fever too. He began making the best omlettes and Steak Au Poivre that ever came out of a kitchen. During the work week, we email recipes to each other and look forward to cooking them together on weekends.
Thank you, gracious lady! You have given us more than we can say.
