Lukasiewicz, Joseph Jon (Joe)

Johnson City: Joseph Jon Lukasiewicz (Joe), 50, of Johnson City, went to be with our Lord unexpectedly on Sunday, February 6, at home. He graduated from Johnson City High School, Class of 1979, BCC, Class of 1983 with an Associates in Marketing, as well as BOCES LPN Program, Class of 1986. He was ACF/ALP LPN Nurse Consultant at Good Shepherd Fairview NH. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Marion (Podest) Lukasiewicz; and his mother-in-law, Katharine (Jones) Loveless. He is survived by his wife, Diana (Loveless); his sisters, Nadine (Peter) Osborne, Julie (Art) Baxter; cherished nieces and nephews, Sean and Dan (Ashley) Shea, Kate and Matthew Osborne; and a great niece, Lillie Shea; his stepchildren, Corrina (Mike) Griffith, Suellen Best and her fiance Tim Hadfield, Brian Morgan and his fiancee Janelle Woodruff, Justin (Becky) Morgan; and his step-grandchildren, Sarah, Nicole, and Stefanie Meleski, Shauna Allen, Mackenzie and Allison Morgan, and Kayla, Ryan and Annabelle Morgan; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was a loving and considerate husband, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, and friend. Joe was a member of the Knights of Columbus Assembly 724, Binghamton, and was also a fourth degree knight. Joe loved movies, travel, dancing, and spending time with family. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Special thanks to the 911 Dispatcher, JC Fire and Police, and all the Emergency Responders. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Sedlock Funeral Home, 161 Clinton Street, Binghamton. A prayer service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday at 9:30 a.m. and the Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1 Cenacle Plaza, Johnson City. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
