Father I will miss you each and every day,
It is with great sadness that I pen these words;
As I find it difficult to write these things I have to say.
You were always there for me no matter the situation;
You guided me through many times of trouble in your special caring way;
Your love for me was never a question as your actions were your confirmation.
You were God's gift to me a special present;
And I to you a wonderful consolation;
My love to you I give 110 percent;
Dad tears are flowing as I think of you;
My life is sure to be affected, but to what extent?
I know that this life is just a passage through;
God has made his choice;
The time in this life has come to an end for you.
It's God's turn to get my precious gift, for that I must rejoice!
I look to the sky to catch a heavenly glimpse;
It gives me comfort as I always hear your voice.
God's gifet to you is to remove you from the eclipse;
Father O' father, my love for you still grows;
For I tremble still when these words are spoken from my lips;
I wish you will still here, but God's will I cannot oppose!

I Love you dad. Godspeed in your journey!

Carol and family,
I am so sorry for the loss of a dear friend to all the people he ran into. He always had a good word and good conversation for us when we visited your office. I lovingly called him "Dan" cuz he remnded me of the Roseanne show Dan... We loved his gusto for football and any other sport he was into. Also his very knowledge of the Civil War Times will be missed when talking to him. Most of all I pray that you, Carol, the kids and the grandkids will all find comfort in knowing such a man as Tom was.
