Joan Gleim Obituary
Hancock: Joan K. Gleim, 78, of Hancock, died on Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton. She was born on May 24, 1933 in Passaic, NJ, the daughter of Charles K. and Anna (Ericson) Giblan. Joan married William P. Gleim on June 8, 1957. She was a member of St. Paul's Church in Hancock where she was a Director of the Junior Choir and active in the Choir and Cantata. Joan and her husband owned and operated the Fox Bowling Center for many years and she took great pride in being the Youth Bowling League Director.
Surviving are her husband, William, four children, Cathy, Peggy, Ruth, and Billy, and seven grandchildren, Meridith, Daniel, Eric, Brendan, Annie, Billy, and Brenna.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 11th, 2012 from 4-7PM at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 12th, 2012 at 10:30AM at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Hancock with Father Christopher Welch officiating. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
Donations can be made in Joan's memory to St. Paul's Church, 346 W. Main St., Hancock, NY 13783.

We will never be able to walk into the Fox Bowling Alley again without thinking of your Mom! She was always so nice to Dan and I. Allison thought she was nice woman, so we'd like to think of them both having a coffee clutch in heaven. May she Rest in Peace.
