Endwell: John Paulson Jr. of Village Drive, Endwell, NY, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents, John Paulson Sr. and Hilma (Franzen) Paulson. He was also predeceased by his fiancee, Patricia Dean. He is survived by his close friends, Bob, Betty, and Brett Billings. He also had many friends that he enjoyed at Pulano Therapy. John was born on January 30, 1928 in Warwick, RI and resided in Broome County for the last 44 years. He worked as an Engineer for IBM Corporation in Owego for 41 years. He was an Alumni of Brown University Class of 1949 and a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Membership in organizations included Round Hill Masonic Lodge, the Scottish Rite Masonic Lodge, and the Kalurah Shrine. He was a life member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. John was an avid antique clock and antique car collector. He especially enjoyed showing his antique cars in Hershey, PA, winning many national awards. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Rev. David C. Seaver will officiate. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, N. Kingstown, RI. Friends may call at the McCormack Funeral Home Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John's memory to the charity of one's choice.
