Catherine M. Romeo
of ApalachinCatherine M. Romeo, 88, of Apalachin, entered into eternal rest Tuesday morning, February 5, 2002 at the Ideal Senior Living Center. She was predeceased by her parents, Daisy and James Romeo, Sr.; also four sisters, Mary, Eleanor, Beatrice and Gladys; and one brother, Francis. She is survived by three sisters and a brother-in-law, Helena Thomas, Vivian and David Knight and Genevieve Romeo; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Charles and Lena Romeo, James Romeo, Jr., Endwell and Robert and Margaret Romeo, Florida; also several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was a retired employee of the Endicott Johnson Corp. with 36 years of service. She was a member of the Apalachin and Little Meadows Senior Citizens. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 8, 2002 at 2 p.m. from the Apalachin United Methodist Church. The Rev. Virgil Muzzy, pastor, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made, in her memory, to the Apalachin United Methodist Church, 303 Pennslyvania Ave., Apalachin, N.Y. 13732. Arrangements are by the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home Inc., State Rt. 434, Apalachin.
