Malvina Quinley "Dodie" Cooper

Dodie Cooper passed away peacefully at her Petaluma residence on September 9, 2010. Devoted wife of the late Ray Cooper. Loving mother of Alvin Cooper and his wife Jill, Ray Allen Cooper, Jr. all of Petaluma and the late Joe "Dusty" Cooper. Beloved grandmother of Kevin Cooper, Jennifer Lee, Eustacia and Tessa Cooper. Cherished daughter of the late Faye and Alvin Quinley. A resident of Petaluma since 1952, Dodie was one of the few female realtors in Petaluma at that time. A 'special thanks' to Herb Bundesen for giving Dodie her first job as a realtor in 1964. Dodie helped pave the way for other women to become realtors. She also worked at Petaluma Realty, Westgate Realty and Larry Parks Realty. A Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREAMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma.
