Stanley Hamilton Obituary

90, died on October 16, 2010. Stan was raised and educated in San Francisco and served in the Navy during World War II. He married the love of his life, Marcia Correll, on October 12, 1946 in Santa Rosa, CA where their two daughters were born and they were active in the community. Stan retired after 25 years with Hills Brothers Coffee in San Francisco and moved to Paradise, CA where he and Marcia managed the Hallmark Store for 19 years. They traveled all over the United States and the world, often with Elderhostel. Stan's grandchildren and great grandchildren brought a lot of joy to him, especially toward the end of his life. Throughout their 64 years of marriage, Stan and Marcia were very devoted to each other and their relationship was an inspiration to their children and grandchildren. They formed many close friendships that lasted throughout their lives. Stan is survived by his brother Jack Hamilton, wife Marcia Hamilton; daughters Lynn and Jan Hamilton; three grandsons and four great grandchildren. Arrangements under the direction of the : NEPTUNE SOCIETY OF NO CA, CHICO BRANCH.

I will always have great memories of Stan. He was my first boss at Hallmark. He had such a kind heart and an infectious smile. He will be missed by many. My condolences to Marcia and his family.
