George Stanley Thrailkill

THRAILKILL, George Stanley Passed away at Novato Community Hospital on January 29, 2005 of a heart attack at the age of 66. A native of San Francisco and longtime Novato resident. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart High in San Francisco, Class of 1957. He went to work for Golden State Dairy and after a few years became an independent milk distributor for "Kenny's Dairy" in the Santa Rosa/Healdsburg/Windsor area until his retirement in 2002. He was an active parish member of Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church in Novato since 1964. He enjoyed working around his home and yard. He also enjoyed watching his grandson Michael Burgess, Jr. play sports for his school in Rohnert Park. He was a staunch supporter of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's Indian casinos and visited them frequently. He also enjoyed supporting the state lottery system. He is survived by the love of his life of 47 years, Diane Thrailkill of Novato, daughter Pamela Burgess and son-in-law Michael Burgess, Sr., granddaughter Kristina Burgess and grandson Michael Burgess, Jr. of Rohnert Park, his son Kenneth Thrailkill and daughter-in-law Penny Thrailkill, grandsons Benjamin and John Thrailkill of Eureka, CA and son Matthew Thrailkill and daughter-in-law Holley Thrailkill of Concord, CA. Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service being recited at 7:00 p.m. at Keaton's Redwood Chapel, 1801 Novato Blvd., Novato. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church, 1806 Novato Blvd., Novato.
