Amy Orfans Obituary

Amy Frances Orfans the daughter of Harold and Florence Hoeckle, was born in Santa Rosa, Ca, October 1, 1934 and entered into eternal rest on Sept 29, 2010 with her loving family around her. She now rests peacefully with her adoring husband Nestor Orfans in the arms of our Lord. She is survived by her daughter Debra Marie, husband Arthur Weinshank; grandchildren Christina Archer, Justin Chavez and Michael Chavez. Amy was a loving and devoted mother, daughter and wife. She was raised in Santa Rosa and attended St. Rose Catholic School and graduated from Santa Rosa High School. She spent many years as a Sonoma County Phone Dispatch. We will always have happy memories of her great sense of humor, wise and loving personality, along with her awesome chocolate chip cookies! She was a caring person who took care of her family and loved her kitties. Amy and Nestor loved our Lord and attended church every Sunday. Thank you to Hannah House and Sutter VNA Hospice who took care of Amy in her last days. Services were held on Friday October 8, 2010 at St. Sebastian's Catholic Church, 7983 Covert Lane, Sebastopol.
