Beatrice Joyce Stewart "Bebe" Anderson

The daughter of Alice and Robert Holden Stewart was born in Trail, B.C., Canada on August 20, 1911 and passed peacefully from this world at Brighton Gardens in Santa Rosa on Sunday, October 10, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edgar Anderson and her three siblings, Patty Chisholm, Caroline Joan McDaniel (nee Stewart) and John Will Stewart. Bebe graduated from the University of British Columbia. She was a Bacteriologist at the Hooper Foundation in San Francisco and an Assistant Professor at the University of California Berkeley. She met her husband Carl at U.C. Berkeley where she was his teacher. She leaves three children, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren in various parts of the country. She loved to play bridge, golf, and was an outstanding tennis player as a youth. She volunteered with Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, member of the Saturday Afternoon Club, PEO HJ Chapter, and the Santa Rosa Golf and Country Club. Please say a toast to "Bebe" with your favorite libation. No services will be held. She will be scattered in the Rose Garden at Santa Rosa Memorial Park with her husband Carl.
