FUNERAL HOME

LeeAnn Henley Obituary

Loving family was by her side as she passed peacefully into God's hands at the young age of 55 on November 9, 2010. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother. LeeAnn was the third born into a family of five girls. She then met her loving husband Ken. They enjoyed riding his Harley and went on many road trips. Life settled down and she gave birth to two wonderful daughters who blessed her with two beautiful grandchildren. She was a very proud mother and grandmother and a great sister. She was also a wonderful aunt to seven nieces and nephews. LeeAnn loved to do arts and crafts, making beautiful beaded jewelry and loved to paint. She and her husband welcomed many pets into their loving home over the years. She wouldn't turn a homeless animal away. She was also a collector of many things. LeeAnn had a wonderful loving heart and soul and was always there to help anyone who needed it. While LeeAnn left this world way too soon, we know the soul chooses its own time to go. She will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit, generosity, loyalty and her love of life. Words cannot express how much we miss her and love her. Her passing has left a void in all of our lives that will never be filled. She will be deeply missed. We love you forever. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Her Life on Saturday, November 20, 2010 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Daniels Chapel of the Roses 1225 Sonoma Ave. Santa Rosa, CA 95405. I was very saddened to learn of LeeAnn's passing. I didn't know her well, in fact I only met her a few times, but her sister Paula married my brother Craig many years ago and I heard so much about her from them as well as their children over the years. I can tell from the guest book entries that she was a wonderful person who left many good memories with her loved ones. My sincerest condolences to her whole family at this sad time. Keep the good memories in your heart.

Shavon and I had been friends since childhood, and we spent a great deal of time there at their house with LeeAnna and Ken, I can’t imagine how empty the house must feel without LeeAnna there. My heart is deeply saddened for their family’s loss, I wish that there were words that could make this pain less, but I know there are not the right words to help comfort this loss. Your family is in my heart, and thoughts.

There are absolutely no words to express the loss we feel for your family during this time. I worked with LeeAnn many years at Mervyn's and during all the years together, LeeAnn was definately a lady that you could count on for any thing that was needed, be it coming in on her day off, working overtime, or working in any department that she was needed in. LeeAnn shared the births of 3 of my 4 grandsons and we shared many stories about the great love of being grandparents. When LeeAnn found out that she was going to be a grandmother for the first time, I believe she was walking on air for the entire 9 months and even for months after her first grandchilds birth. She floated and glowed with excitement over the second grandchild as well and I will never forget the happiness that she felt over her children, husband and grandchildren. May you fly freely on the tail of a star as you cradle your family in your angel wings. I will never forget you LeeAnn and it was a great pleasure not just being your H.R. manager, but your friend as well. Rest in peace lovely lady and keep on smiling. I will miss you. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time. We will meet again in the next life.
